Q: Will I need a Meningitis vaccination?

Yes, it is compulsory to have this vaccine in order to obtain a Hajj or Umrah visa. It is best to see you GP and clarify which other Vaccinations you may need before you embark on this journey.

Q: Will there be any religious guidance during the pilgrimage?

Yes, groups are normally accompanied by male & female guides throughout your journey also, for specific religious guidance and lectures, we often arrange for a scholar to accompany each group.

Q: What type of Hajj will we be performing?

Most pilgrims will be performing Hajj Tamattu. Those wanting to perform Hajj Qiran will be given the opportunity to do so at the start of their journey.

Inshallah all rites and rituals will be performed according to the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

Q: What happens about arranging a Qurbani (Sacrifice)?

This is part of the package Hajj packages.  One Qurbani per person will be carried out on your behalf which you are more than welcome to come and view. Any Extra Qurbani(s) you wish to have done can also be carried out on request, however an additional cost will apply which we can only confirm at the time.

Q: What ziyarat’s can I expect to visit?

All group packages include ziyarat of both holy cities.

Makkah:-

Jibl-e-Noor, Jibl-e-Rehmat and Mount Soar
Mina, Arafat, And Mudzalifah, Jannat Al-Maala

Madinah:-
Masjid Quba, Masjid Al- Qiblatain, Mount Uhud,

Jannat Al-Baqee, Seven Mosque’s (Handuk)

Q: What happens to our suitcases during the 5 days of Hajj?

Your luggage will remain safely stored in your rooms in Makkah. You will have access to your room at any time during the 5 days of Hajj, should you have the need to go back to your room.

Q: How much money would I need to take with me?

This will vary depending on which package duration you decide to travel on and will vary from person to person depending on personal spending habits. Please allow enough money for food, laundry and shopping that you may do during your stay.

Q: How do I arrange for laundry to be cleaned?

This is very simple, this service is often provided by the hotels we use at a cost however, there are other laundrettes within the local areas who also offer this service, often at a better price.

Q: What if I want to take ZamZam back to the UK with me?

This is very common, each individual is normally allowed to take a maximum of 5 litres of ZamZam without affecting luggage allowance. Please keep in mind this may vary from airline to airline as each carrier has their own policies. Should you wish to cargo more ZamZam water back to the UK this can be arranged through ourselves during your travel at an additional cost which will we discussed and confirmed with you at the time.

Q: What if I get Ill during my stay in Saudi Arabia?

A certain amount of medical care is available however, it is not to the same high standard as the U.K. medical service. We will endeavour to assist you in finding medical services. We strongly advise all our customers to take out adequate travel/health insurances that will cover the cost of any medical treatment you may need should the worst to happen. We also advise to travel with someone (family or friend) who will assist you if the worst was to happen.
